Jimmy Anderson

The England and Lancashire cricketer holds the world record for the most Test wickets taken by a fast bowler with 704.

He has also taken 269 wickets in One Day Internationals.

He became the first English bowler to take 500 Test wickets.

His favourite golf course is West Lancashire.

This is his second appearance in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, though he has twice birdied the 18th hole on the Old Course.

He says: ‘Being able to play great courses so steeped in history is like playing at Lord’s. A real privilege.’
