Hatton wins record third title with birdie on final hole
England’s Tyrrell Hatton was acclaimed the greatest champion in the history of the Alfred Dunhill Links after becoming the first to win a record third title after a thrilling day of golf on the Old Course.
He sank a four-foot putt for a birdie three on the 18th hole to beat Belgium’s Nicolas Colsaerts, after the two were locked together on 23-under-par after the last few holes of the Championship.
Both players had final round 70s, and Tommy Fleetwood was third on 21-under par after a 67
