Sir Steve Redgrave

One of the greatest Olympians, winning rowing gold medals at five consecutive Olympic Games, beginning with the coxed fours in 1984 in Los Angeles and finishing with the coxless fours in Sydney in 2000.

Steve is a member of the Laureus World Sports Academy.

Since being diagnosed with diabetes in 1997, he has become an inspiration to other sufferers and is a Vice-President of Diabetes UK.

He plays most of his golf at Harleyford near Marlow. Has played in all 22 Alfred Dunhill Links.

Says his best golfing moment was having his own charity golf day at Harleyford and a very young Tyrrell Hatton winning a competition to be part of the day.

He says ‘I’ve been lucky enough to make three cuts. Playing the final round is a huge honour.’
