Huey Lewis and the News were one of the most successful music bands of the 1980s.
The Power of Love and Hip to be Square were two of their biggest hits and the 1983 album Sports sold more than ten million copies in the US alone.
The band remains in great demand for live performances.
Huey is also an accomplished actor. He played Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago, and in Duets in 2000 he played Ricky Dean, the karaoke hustler father of the film’s star Gwyneth Paltrow.

Plays most of his golf at Stockfarm, Montana. Once holed a ball from the Road Hole bunker – by throwing it! And was awarded Sky TV’s Shot of the Day.
Also had a ‘proper’ birdie at the Road Hole one Saturday on a day when there were only two; the other was from Graeme McDowell.
