St Andrews fireworks spectacular set for Saturday

The St Andrews night sky will come alive with a spectacular fireworks display this Saturday October 3, 2026, as the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship celebrates its 25th anniversary. 

The evening will begin with a performance from the St Andrews Pipe Band, who will play on the 18th fairway of The Old Course from 8pm, followed by the fireworks show which will begin at 8.25pm. The fireworks will take place as usual on the West Sands, adjacent to the Old Course, and the best view will be from Links Road, behind the 17th green, and from the track in front of the Old Course Hotel. 

Played over three of the most famous Links courses in the world – the Old Course St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns - this is the 25th time this prestigious event has been staged.
