A.P McCoy

Tony McCoy, known universally as A.P., is a Northern Irish jump jockey who broke all the records in his sport by the time he retired in April 2015. He rode in more than 16,000 races, had 4,357 winners, over 1,000 falls and was champion jockey 19 times – every year he rode professionally – beating the previous record of seven consecutive titles set by Peter Scudamore. He rode many times for owner JP McManus, who is also playing in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. A member of West Berkshire, this is his second appearance in the Championship.
