Family Fitzpatrick together again in the Alfred Dunhill Links

Matt Fitzpatrick, one of the successful European Ryder Cup team in Rome, will be playing alongside his mum in this week’s Alfred Dunhill Team Championship.

The 2022 U.S. Open Champion played with Susan in last year’s event and they are looking forward to revisiting the three great Links courses, the Old Course St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, on which the Championship is played.

Also playing is Sue’s younger son Alex, the brother of Matt, who has been drawn to play with Irish financier Gerry McManus.

Among some other fascinating pairings, Billy Horschel is partnering wife Brittany, Tommy Fleetwood once again joins businessman Ogden Phipps, with whom he won the Team Championship in 2019, and cricketer Kevin Pietersen is playing with Scottish hope Richie Ramsay.

Two of the Hollywood stars in St Andrews are paired with past champions: Catherine Zeta-Jones teams up with 2019 champion Victor Perez and Bill Murray partners 2014 champion Oliver Wilson, while Kathryn Newton is playing with Connor Syme.

The full draw can be found here.
